Similar to the LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE series, this memoir gives a glimpse into the life of a young boy when the west was young. This is a must read for all young readers interested in the old west. Very easy reading and kept my interest through the end of the book - a fascinating story I hated to see end. Thanks to the author for taking the initiative to share his grandfather's stories with others.
